"My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

Colossians 2:2-4

Living a life of encouragement is Erica's story. Growing up with a childhood full of cross country moves and feelings of loneliness, God built in her a heart for those who feel outcast and alone. From an early age she noticed how playing piano was a way to delight others who needed comfort and draw them closer to their Creator through beautiful music.

While earning a Master’s Degree in piano she simultaneously devoted herself to ministry. Her music blossomed through writing and recording original music as an act of worship. Through the years she has seen her musical talent opening up doors to also teach and share encouragement through words. This ministry weaving music and words has taken her to numerous churches, countries overseas, and women facing extreme challenges.

With many years playing in recitals and church services, Erica has sought to find her identity and worth not in her performance but in Jesus.  In 2012, Erica authored her first book, "Embraced: Becoming Who We Are in Christ." In this book, Erica explores the truth of our eternal identity as loved, accepted and embraced by God. The life-transforming message of Erica’s book has brought hope and new freedom to many women in small groups and women's events.

Erica continues to live a life of encouragement in Ventura County, California by mentoring women, singing and speaking at churches, and loving her husband and three adult children.
